The German company Schmaus GmbH was founded in 1990 in Hartmannsdorf, Saxony, located near Chemnitz. We are an experienced office equipment specialist and logistics provider supplying about 40,000 office workers with office stationery, print products, promotional items, and more consumbles. We supply financial, public, and medical institutions as well as large or medium-sized production and service companies throughout Germany and Austria.

As your consulting partner, we offer a wide range of services, including cost analysis, e-procurement solutions, stock management, just-in-time delivery and benchmark analysis with comparable costumers.

Our modern logistics centre comprises a storage space of over 1,000 palett units, 9,000 flow storage bins and about 25,000 items to be delivered just-in-time to cost centres or branches of our customers.

The 18 months lasting qualification programme "Certified Consultant for Stationery Products" (Zertifizierter Fachberater für Papier-, Büro- und Schreibwaren) is the most demanding professional training of the office supplies trade. By now, eight young customer consultants of the Schmaus GmbH have completed the programme successfully. They obtained detailled knowledge about products and processes around office work. Therefore, our team of certified and experienced consultants ensures high quality advice to all of our customers.
