The German company Schmaus GmbH was founded in 1990 in Hartmannsdorf, Saxony, located near Chemnitz. We are an experienced office equipment specialist and logistics provider supplying about 40,000 office workers with office stationery, print products, promotional items, and more consumbles. We supply financial, public, and medical institutions as well as large or medium-sized production and service companies throughout Germany and Austria.

Our modern logistics centre comprises a storage space of over 1,000 palett units, 9,000 flow storage bins and about 25,000 items to be delivered just-in-time to cost centres or branches of our customers.

Schmaus GmbH was elected as "Office Equipment Specialist of the Year 2016" by an expert audience of office supplies industry. Criteria have been Schmaus'  innovative services, distinct customer focus, and sustainable entrepreneurship. Out of 5,000 comparable wholesale and retail companies in the office supplies sector, eight companys were nominated for this year´s election by the reknown trade magazine "PBS Report – Magazin für Büro und Papeterie".
